Here's my final piece I painted on the last Monday and Tuesday of April. After having spent 10 hours peering over it, I don't know if it really is any good at all, but having spent so much time on it I thought I'd post a photo of it here.

This photo isn't great, as the guy who took it cut of the edges on both sides. It was painted with oil on canvas, probably a 100 x 70cm or something like that, though it feels huge, leaning over it for hours. The details are a bit unclear as well, I spent hours on the feet and hands, they don't look great here... :(

Another :iconamras-elendil: piece :).

Not extremely exciting really.
The theme was 'Barriers'.

This is a very nice subject and I like seeing done in this style. I also like the composition except where he is cropped. I would like to see the rest of the boy crawling over hte fence. I wouldn't even mind if his elbo and head where almost touching the edges of the piece because it would definantly put more tension in the piece.

And apparently 'my' style is completely different to everyone else in my class... (tbh I don't know if that's especially good or not)

As mentioned the original is not cropped as this, just tightly fitted.

lol don't wory it's good when your style is "different" because that makes it more your own. ^_^ I've been trying really hard to get my own style too after one of my teachers told me that I have no style because I was trying to do so many different things.
